My new project!

So this started out that I wanted to make a few necklaces for my girls. A friend, Kary, made one for Jossi and Rylee and I decided to copy her and make some more. It has turned out to be quite a thing. I guess you could say I went a little overboard looking for beads, pendants, and crystals. Anyway, here are a few of the one's I have made.

Rylee's ballet recital

Rylee started taking ballet from Ms. Lisa last September.
She has absolutely loved it! They had a recital on Saturday
and did a wonderful job. Thanks Ms. Lisa for all your hard work!

Rylee, Briana, and Toria Knowlton

Whitni Parker came and took pictures
of all the dancers. She did an awesome job!

To Washington this time!

So yes we started on a thursday and flew from Texas to Chicago, Chicago to Minnisota and returned going from Minnesota to Denver and Denver to Texas on the following Monday. Three days later we went from Texas to Denver, Denver to Pasco and then did the same thing coming back the following Monday. We have felt like we should get to see some people before Reagan begins his chiropractic school journey. It has been a crazy couple of weeks, but so much fun. We are so blessed that Reagan has been able to work for the airlines part time. I feel like we have really been able to stay close with our loved ones because of this.
We had a great time seeing everyone in Pasco. It was a beautiful weekend, so we spent much of it outside. We were able to go to one of Bailie's soccer games. She is a great little player and works really hard! We also played a little game of basketball ourselves. I was lucky enough to be on the winning team, thanks to Lance who couldn't miss a shot and Marc who has some "mad" defensive skills! It was a lot of fun and a huge plus that nobody was hurt! We had a BBQ at Mom and Dad's with friends and family before we left. The kids had so much fun together and it was so good to see everyone. Thanks Mom and Dad for all you do for us and for welcoming us whenever we feel the urge to come home.

Our trip to Minnesota

We recently spent a weekend in Rochester with Reagan's brother and his family. This is our first time making it out that way and we had a great time! It was really good for Rylee and Jossi to get to know their cousins better. I was so amazed to see how all three of their kids have grown up. Reagan got to see Jason take first in his track meet(he ran the mile in five min and some odd seconds...crazy!!) and we were both able to see his violin concert. Way to go Jason!! Courtney is not a little girl anymore and oh how I wish we lived closer because I know what an awesome babysitter she is. And Bruce was so good about letting my girls destroy all of his stuff. They are not use to seeing all of the fun legos, marbles and nerf ball guns. (see I don't even know what they are called!) Anyway, Thank you Shaun and Krissy for a great weekend.

Little bit of this and that!!

So I feel like I haven't posted anything for awhile. So to start off... the first part of April Jossi and I had a girls night out with some friends and went to a local play of Beauty and the Beast. Whitney, a young woman in our ward was in it and did great! What a fun night!!

Jossi finished up soccer only playing in three games, but she did great and had a lot of fun. We will look forward to the fall season.

We have been trying to get the girls outside as much as we can right now while the weather is so nice. They love to ride bikes and Jossi is especially loving to rollerblade. She has had them for about a month and a half now and has done suprisingly well. Reagan loves having someone to rollerblade with so he was very excited for her to get them. A real treat is to go to the roller rink and skate there. Lets just hope for only scratches and no broken bones!!

Soccer Days!!

So Jossi and Rylee are both playing soccer this year. It has been kind of a bummer deal for Jossalyn because she has only been able to play in two games so far with only one remaining. They had so many rain out games that got rescheduled to Sundays and just other cancellations. In her second game of the season the other night, she scored!! She was so excited! After that I saw in her a determination that she wanted to do it again. It was so awesome because she doesn't really play with a whole lot of drive, but this may have done it for her.

Rylee had her first game last week. (She plays with the YMCA so they are just getting started.) I think these are the most entertaining games. She actually has a really good team, so that makes it fun. We don't ever really know what we will get from Rylee. She will run really hard and kick the ball and then decide she's tired and looks at the clouds or the grass. Oh the joy of three year olds playing soccer! It was a fun weekend with Grandma in town. She was able to run from soccer game to soccer game and caught five of them that morning! It worked out really well and the kids loved having Grandma there.

High School Musical on ice

While Grandma was in town, we took McKenna, Maddy, Jossalyn, and Rylee to see High School Musical on Ice. They all loved it!! Rylee loved "pretty Gabriella" and Jossi thought the golf cart on the ice was pretty cool!
